Volunteers train for summer Youth Olympics
An instructor coaches volunteers during a training session ahead of the Summer Youth Olympic Games (YOG), in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province, July 13. The volunteers, chosen from 18 universities and colleges in Nanjing, are training nearly 10 hours a day, and they will perform such duties as guiding spectators and assisting during the medal cermonies. The YOG – an international multi-sport event organized by the International Olympic Committee - are held every four years, and the first summer event was held in Singapore in August 2010.
