Traditional opera bridges China and Austria

Austrian students put on opera makeups and learn to practice traditional Chinese opera in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province on Sunday. Twenty students from the Confucius Institute at the University of Graz join hands with Jiangsu University during a summer camp called "Hanyu Bridge" to experience the charm of the Chinese language and traditional Chinese culture. The camp will last until July 17, offering chances for the Austrian students to try calligraphy, paper-cutting, and taichi.
